Vintage Hats

Is there anything quite as much fun as being out and about in a vintage hat? Before buying one you should consider a few matters:
1. Size matters. Remember that vintage clothing sizes may differ from modern sizes. So, if you are buying online you want to find out the measurements rather than just the size.
2. Hats made before the 1930’s usually have a lining that is sewn by hand.
3. Hats made in the 1930’s and 1940’s often have a tag with the hat size.
4. This may seem ovious but be sure to check the hat for stains and tears before you buy it.
5. Don’t forget to purchase a vintage hat pin to accompany your vintage hat!
